THE RED SEA

The Red Sea in all of her majestic beauty, to be gazed upon her face, yet her beauty from deep beneath and within, is an anomaly, where great extremes meet, holding the keys to unlock the secret gates which opens up all life.

Her extremes in heat and salinity (the saltiest (NaCl) body of water on earth), monsoon wind induced anomalous currents and geo/hydrothermal activities creates an environment extreme in its hostility to life, yet she maintains and some of the richest abundances in form producers of life, both in diversity and nativity of species.

The world within her fertile womb, has its origins in the deeper depths of Mother Earth, hidden from view beneath her great mantle. That which is visible, is otherworldly, an attack on the senses and even on comprehension. Her landscape, full of volcanic propensities, constantly bringing changes, terraforming the scenery.

Her exotic ecosystems with colors in full spectrum range, splashing in contrasts with crystal clear yet deep blue/green and sometimes red waters, sea floor chimneys release dark plumes of mineral rich sediments, corral reef systems, amongst the oldest living is a favored destination for serious divers with marine life second to none, The Red Sea still largely unexplored, hold mysteries of our planet and even of life itself.
