OUR PHILOSOPHY
Our current global economic systems and institutions, believe it or not, also have their origins within The Horn of Africa. The institutional systems which saw and encouraged the exploitation of its indigenous producers and their native lands, for the exclusive benefits of a few elite and their global market consumers, had its origin within The Horn of Africa.
This is how to explain the comparative contemporary and historic lack of development within a region known to be the first and largest global trade producer and supplier throughout the course of human history for millenia.
And throughout these thousands of years the same insidious model has been exported, in its purity or modified for greater effectiveness, to exploit indigenous peoples and lands throughout the entire planet.
This savage model, which gives the highest rewards in resources, praise and honor for practices in business deemed to be savvy, through negotiations or coercions, to achieve the lowest cost for goods purchased and the highest price for goods sold, with no moral fiber felt towards the producer or consumer who may stagnate or worst, fall into ruin.
The elite, industry and enterprise owners and their noble laborers for wages, earners and consumers, understand their own needs and rights to more in order to lead a better life, escaping poverty and the sands of inflation. Yet there is no resonance of empathy or thoughts of concern for those from where the raw materials are stolen from or whose labor is exploited along the way, which provided for us the employment opportunity.
The devastation that our consumption and production practices have reaped upon our once pristine planet is mind numbing in effects. Ironically, those negatively impacted the greatest by the ravages of our consumption are those who have consumed the least.
Please excuse me, but I must say that only animals could be excused for enjoying their feast, while the poor soul from whom the meal was stolen is languishing in starvation, unable to feed her own cubs. For the beast, this practice is part of its instinctive nature based on the natural laws of survival or self-preservation and is necessary to maintain balance within their ecosystem. The disdain which exists between animals ranges from viscous hatred to apathetic uncaring, self-serving alliances to hyper incestuous which can be defined by description of characteristics as animosity towards one another. The current systems, by default or by design, have the cause and effect for humans to vibrate at the animosity frequencies of the animal plane of existence and such systems are of no value to an evolved humanity on an evolving planet.
We need less Animosity and more Humanosity!!!
