HEALTH

Health Care covers our third key critical sector in our commitment to the sustainable wellbeing of our Indigenous Partner Communities. Indigenous communities by far have the highest birth rates and are the fastest growing populations on the planet. Yet, these same populations experience the highest rates in child mortality and lowest rates in the quality of life and its expectancy. While quality of life and its expectancy is a critical issue throughout the world, many people within the developed world are finding greater health and wellbeing by embracing indigenous models, values and practices while indigenous populations are becoming more dependent upon western medicine and practice, often which are not conveniently accessible. Our commitment is to see the establishment of Wholistic Health Centers within our Indigenous Partner Communities, which have the capacities to facilitate major and minor medical needs, administer medicines and medical advice, while exploring, training and embracing a full range of natural health behavioral practices such as:

  • Health and Hygiene Assessments and Propagation
  • Natural Plant Medicine
  • Comprehensive Nutrition and Dietary Practice Information
  • Wholistic Energy Healing Practices such as Reiki and Qigong
  • Health and Wellness Practices such as Meditation and Yoga
  • Midwifery and Natural Birth Support
  • Our goals are to partner with individuals and organizations with extensive expertise in these wholistic health sectors, while maintaining a strong partnership with local and regional allopathic medical institutions and practitioners.
