EDUCATION
Education is said to be the greatest factor in lifting people out of poverty. Yet we find many of the most educated individuals within the wealthiest of societies, who come from communities around the world that are still poverty stricken. What good is education if it does not exercise power to raise the condition of your people and enhance knowledge of self. Most educational models, institutionalized within indigenous communities around the world, are colonial remnants, which leave its indoctrinated with a strongly biased devaluation of their own culture and a wanderlust for the dominant global society. In dedication to our partnered Indigenous Producers, our commitment towards education is a critical key fundamental factor. Thus, our vision, in alignment with the local infrastructural development, is to establish educational facilities, which serve local youth within the following ways:
- Provide a mentally stimulating social environment for academic learning.
- Including theatre facility for cultural arts training and performance.
- Vocation Skills Training facilities
- Lab spaces for general and advanced STEM programs
- Athletics, Sports and recreation facilities and departments
Our deep desire is to see the young people of these communities feel a sense of pride and dignity, with the understanding that the opportunities presented to advance their achievement potential, is not the product of charity or aid, but the consequence of responsible and conscientious allocation of resources, which is their birthright, from the resources, natural or cultivated, provided by their lands.
Make no mistake, the youth of today, within indigenous communities worldwide, are advanced intellectually with high functional technological capacities, academic textbook literacy and are multi-linguistic, even with very meager material resources and little hope for opportunity. Opportunity coupled with restrictive challenges produces ingenuity to solve the problems of society and the world. The world today is facing major challenges, to the degrees of which have never been seen before. And to solve these problems, we are dependent upon the youth of the world to be educated, informed and empowered to play their critical role. Indigenous community youth are the largest and fastest growing population on the planet and therefore potentially the most important asset resource to lead our planet in its advancement.
