ANCIENT KEMET
The land of Kemet, or “The black land”, called “Egypt” by The Greeks, still known as that to us today, was a unification of many small Nile Valley kingdoms within the confines of the two great lands. The lower lay north, within the fertile delta of The Nile and the upper is found south, leading back towards The Nile source. Its blessings in a constant supply, fed by The Nile, with riches beyond measure, from its beating heart within The Horn of Africa. The nature of this relationship would develop the world’s first known advanced technological civilization which cannot be properly understood until this very day.
•The predynastic leaders, who would be accredited with the monumental unification of the two great lands, would be listed upon the stone walls of the tombs in Abydos. The first recorded rulers would belong to a list of The Gods, then the first historically human figure, founder of the first royal dynasty of Kemet and perhaps the first imperial monarch in the world, King Menes, the unifier of the two lands.
The sacred city of Abydos would become the power center of the early royal dynasties and priesthoods of Kemet. The great temple of Ausar (Osiris) would be built within this city, where the worship of The Gods would be carved into institutions and spread throughout all of the land. This city is said to hold the tomb of Ausar and where the early dynastic rulers came to be buried, regarded to be the gateway into the afterlife.
Archaeological and genetic evidence closely links the Abydos elite, rulers and priests, to the pre-dynastic Nagada culture, whose closest links match with The Kerma Culture within the Kushite civilization, who further match closest to where they migrated from, deeper within The Horn of Africa.
